This control room desk is a standup desk and is height-adjustable with four electric motors that lift up to 550 lbs from 25"-50" vertically. Each operator has the ability to address his or her own ergonomic needs and health goals by improving circulation, burning calories, and increasing movement throughout the day offering the health benefits of standing. - Front and back tops: adjust independently and lift up to 550 lbs from 25"-50" vertically with electric motors. Lifting capacity on the front surface - where your keyboards, iPads, laptops, etc, go - is 350 lbs, and 550 lbs on the back surface where your monitors go.
- CPU cabinets are built-in: Open front and back for easy access to your CPUs and cables. Two cooling fans dissipate heat at 130 CFM per minute. CPU cabinet dimensions: The open area inside is 54” (between fans) x 14D” x 20” high.
- Standard metal cable tray located under the rear top. Dimensions: 3.5" deep X 2" high.
- Dimensions Overall: 131" wide the depth 42.83"D.
- Strength: the front and back surfaces have a steel sub-structure. The base is high-strength phenolic which is super strong and lighter than solid steel. The front and back surfaces attach to the steel sub-structure with threaded metal inserts, which is basically a nut-to-bolt connection. Other manufacturers use wood screws into particleboard which cannot be re-used. Which would you prefer?
