The tops are rectangular to give you maximum workarea area on the dual worksurfaces. The CPU cabinets are built in and include cooling fans. See details below. - Front and back tops are straight/rectangular like the images above left and are height adjustable from 24" to 49" with electric motors.
- Lifting capacity on the front surface - where your keyboards, iPads, laptops, go is 300lbs. Lifting capacity back surface 450lbs on the back surface, where your monitors go.
- Strength the front and back surfaces have a steel sub-structure. The base is high strength phenolic which is super strong and lighter than solid steel. The front and back surfaces attach to the steel sub-structure with threaded metal inserts, which is basically a nut to bolt connection. Other manufacturers use wood screws into particleboard. Which would you prefer?
- Assembly can be arranged in most areas at the time of ordering for $899 per console. Or have your staff do it. Assembly is not difficult for anyone who has turned a wrench. Assembly of this Banana ERO Dispatch 911 Console takes 2-3 hours as the base ships are assembled. So basically all you have to do is attach the tops to the base with the provided hardware. - TAA (Trade Act Agreement) compliant as this is made in the state of Minnesota creating jobs and a tax base in the USA.
- Tailgate delivery. Very important. If you do not have a truck tailgate high loading dock, or if your delivery address is in a residential area, or you did not select the optional delivery, you need to add "Tailgate Delivery" above right. The reason is this Dispatch Console ships on a 53-foot-long truck that has to back up to a loading dock to unload. The tailgate height of a trailer is about 4 feet above the ground. Tailgate delivery means the shipping company will bring a smaller truck that has a lift gate to offload your order. The driver is not responsible for unloading. If the delivery has to be re-scheduled you will be charged a re-delivery charge, plus the tailgate delivery charge.
