Standard power port DPEL2 daisy-chained together. The DPEL2 makes desktop power connectivity easy for laptops, cell phones, iPads, etc. With (2) USB 2.0 ports, (2) USB charging ports, (2) AC 125V 60Hz outlets, (1) front/rear ethernet port, (1) front/rear phone port. Angled toward the user for convenience and ease in connecting. The daisy chaining connects up to three to four council members power needs together, then you plug the 10' three-prong power cable into floor power. In the context of interior design and furniture, "daisy-chaining" usually refers to linking multiple power modules or under-desk docks together on a single circuit. It is an efficient way to distribute power across training rooms, collaborative workstations, or modular desks without needing endless individual cords running to wall outlets. The Master Connection: Is a single heavy-duty power cord (often called a "whip") connects the first power block in the sequence directly to a floor circuit, wall, or power pole. Our DPEL2 power port includes a a commercial-grade 3-prong electrical plug.
Standard 3" diameter grommet for extra cabling needs such as microphones.
Standard desk riser/privacy panel 9" deep x either 9" high or 6' high. Runs the full width of the council chambers desk. You are responsible for determining the best height of the desktop riser/privacy panel based on the height of the council members, the height adjustability of your chairs, whether this will be placed on the floor, or on a customer provided raised platform. Let us know.

Options such as:

Optional top/base depth. Select standard 30 inches deep or 36" deep.
Optional locking casters for mobility allow you to unlock and move each section. The locking caster will have a gap of approximately 1" at the base to the floor. The height of the top will be 29" high from the floor. The overall height including the desktop riser/privacy panel will be either 35" or 38" from the floor.

The crescent-shaped footprint Allows council members to interact with each other and address the public.

Approximate Dimensions: Will be based on your room dimensions. Each council member will have a minimum knee space of 32" per person to exceed the ADA Compliant (American With Disabilities Act). For an ADA-compliant conference table that accommodates a wheelchair user, the typical minimum knee clearance is: 27 inches minimum clear height from the floor to the underside of the table. 30 inches minimum clear width. And 19 inches minimum clear depth for knee space under the conference table. These dimensions can be changed if needed.

Design tip: To understand how this fits and looks in your room take masking tape and do an outline of each component on the floor using the dimensions above. Or from our quote. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the dimensions to insure everything will fit and meet local codes. We can also provide a template of the council chambers desk based on the dimensions you provide us at an extra charge.

Optional Desk Riser: Is a vertical barrier for the privacy of the council members and is 9 inches high X 9 inches deep. The portion of the top which is 2' 6" (30" high plus the desktop riser makes it 39 inches high while the rest of the top remains at 30 inches high. Review the image below. This council desk ships in 3-4 sections on a wood shipping pallet then boxed, then shrunk wrapped.
